Ta-Ta-Ta-Ta ist ein heiteres Potpourri, dass sich in rund fünf Minuten durch alle Gattungen des Beethovenschen Schaffens hindurch bewegt. Angefangen mit der Mondscheinsonate, der Ouvertüre von Fidelio, dem Beethoven-Septett folgen Zitate aus der 5., 8. und 9. Sinfonie. Der Titel des Potpourris erinnert an das Kopfmotiv der 5. Sinfonie – ist aber gleichzeitig auch Text des Mälzel-Kanons aus der 8. Sinfonie. In jedem Fall ein Spaß – nicht nur für Beethoven-Liebhaber. Eignet sich auch für die Aufführung im Bassorchester. Bass 1 sollte Erfahrungen in der Daumenlage haben.

Ta-Ta-Ta-Ta is a lively potpourri introducing both player and audience to the world of Ludwig van Beethoven within five minutes. Starting with the „Mondschein-Sonate“ the musical journey tours around quotations of the opera Fidelio, the septet as well as his symphonies 5., 8. and 9. The title of the potpourri remeinds of the theme of the 5. Symphony, but in the same time of the music of the „Mälzel-Kanon“ of the 8. Symphony. Anyway it is great fun not only for Beethoven lovers. The piece is also suitable for performing with a bass orchestra. Bass 1 should be experienced in thumb position.
