Gargantua ist eine dreisätzige Suite, die inspiriert wurde durch den Abenteuerroman über die Riesen "Gargantua et Pantagruel" des französischen Dichters Francois Rabelais. Die Unbeschwertheit, Lebensfreude und Leidenschaft des Protagonisten finden ihren Ausdruck in einer lebendigen, rhythmisch und harmonisch reichen Musik, die Spielern und Publikum gleichermaßen Spaß macht.

Gargantua is a suite consisting of three move­ments, inspired by an adventure story by French poet Francois Rabelais about the giants Gargantua and Pantagruel. The protagonists lightheartedness, vitality and passion is expressed through a lively, rhythmic and harmonically rich music, that amuses musicians and audience in equal measure.
